Dr Matt Ives is a research scientist with extensive experience in systems modelling, fisheries stock assessment,

environmental sustainability, economics and information technology. Matt has worked in both the private and public sectors including working with AusAID on sustainability projects in China, with the US Forest service on forestry sustainability indicators and with NSW Department of Primary Industries on fisheries assessment and population modelling. Matt developed the fisheries modelling and assessments tool known as BIOMAS, a highly flexible bio-economic population modelling tool.
Matt is the currently employed as a Systems Modeller at the Oxford University Centre for the Environment where he is combining his passion for environmental sustainability with his years of experience in software development. Matt is as also working on a number of collaborative projects with several clients including IC Independent Consulting.
