William Robbins

Will has led cutting-edge research for over 21 years, including projects in Australia, Brazil, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, French Polynesia, Hawaii, New Caledonia, Oman, Papua New Guinea, and the Seychelles. His research investigates the demography, ecology and management of sharks and fishes, along with terrestrial research, monitoring and risk assessments. Will regularly consults for Australian and overseas governments, with his findings having led to changes in Government legislation and operational procedures many times. Will previous worked at the Cronulla Fisheries Research Centre of Excellence, managing the State’s premier fish ageing laboratory, co-running the State telemetry program, researching shark interactions, and providing sustainable fisheries management advice.

Will is the founder of Wildlife Marine research and consultancy, a Perth-based firm with active collaborations with IC Independent Consulting.
